Helping anxious and sensitive kids find their strength and their spark.
At Point Hillier Psychology, I work as a sole practitioner supporting children, adolescents, and parents with warmth, curiosity, and evidence-based care.
My approach is grounded in the belief that behaviour makes sense when we understand the context, and that meaningful change happens when people feel safe, supported and genuinely understood.
Ways I can help
I support a range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental concerns, including:
Anxiety, worries, fears, and big feelings
Behavioural challenges at home or school
Emotional regulation and meltdowns
Social difficulties and peer relationships
Neurodivergence, including ADHD and Autism
Low confidence, self-criticism, and perfectionism
Parenting stress, overwhelm, and burnout
Adjustment to change, transitions, and life stressors

Emotion regulation and coping skills development
Values-based and strengths-focused work
Collaborative work with parents, schools, and other professionals when helpful
Above all, I aim to create a space where children and teens feel understood, parents feel supported, and families feel less alone as they navigate life’s challenges — with a whole load of compassion, flexibility, and humanity along the way.
